I've sold before but I'm not so happy about my latest decision. I purchased this rare and in impeccable condition bag, used it once and realized Alma BBs are TINY! She's stunning to look at but I probably would only use her for special occasions which are rare these days. So I listed it and sold on a payment plan. I received the down payment and am now wondering how can I possibly get out of selling this! But why, the bag is not very useful to me.... this is quite an internal struggle, can anyone else relate?

Yes! I have been there! But you sound undecided if you really want to keep it. I have the same bag in mono/silver. If you don’t use it why do you not want to sell it? There is no point keeping it if it’s just stunning to look at and not functional…

Thanks, I know, it isn't logical. I think it's just so pretty and I love it. I know I won't use it much more than a couple times a year, ugh....

I’ve been there on some bags even calling a reseller to send the bag back because I changed my mind. After I got it back I never used it.:annoyed: It’s a hard call….I guess you need to be very sure you want to sell it because it won’t be easy getting that bag again….if you really want to keep it, you could ask the buyer if you could refund the money that you changed your mind…it is a beautiful bag and use it if you keep it even if it’s just for running errands….

Oh wow!! Well, I took it out of the dust bag and put my flat wallet, Cosmetic pouch, keys, chapstick and phone in and once again remembered why I'm making the right decision to sell. I do love the look of it but DON'T love the size... logic wins I think, haha. Thanks so much for your advice

Glad that you were able to decide what you want to do, and hopefully you will be happy. I just wanted to say, no matter how rare or hard to get a bag is, if it doesn’t spark joy and happiness, and you hardly ever use it then I would consider letting it go. There is no point in it gathering dust and sitting there as an ornament. I’m sure there was a reason why you wanted to sell it, and you just have to remember that again. If it was me, I would sell it and you got a buyer so it’s meant to be.

I totally understand how you feel but would not consider this an example of a bag where you would ever recoup the original price paid with the number of uses. I say focus on the new bag that you intend to buy with the proceeds from this sale.

Don’t have sellers remorse… if you are not 100% sure you want to sell it then don’t. Issue a refund to the person who paid the deposit and apologise profusely. Explain that you have changed your mind.
