I hope the sadness will pass since I'm trying to stay off the "hamster wheel". Walked into Holts today and what do I see? Classic Givenchy med Lucrezia duffle - black calf leather, champagne pale gold hw. This arrived today from another store - old msrp $23xx and now, $16xx. I played with it and I was oh so tempted to say: Yes but I have to stop the spontaneous splurge shopping, right? Well, I put her down and 5 mins later, another woman is buying her...aw shucks...whatever, I guess I will get over this but man...that was a pretty darn good price and classic black etc.

Maybe if had been quilted version or chain detailed I would have totally caved in??? I will never know.

Yoogi's had a pink (hot pink) bow bag, I think it was called the bondage bag? I looked at it and looked at it, and thought one of these days I'm going to order that bag. Until one day I went to the website and looked, and it was gone! I was so mad at myself. I've never seen another one like it. If I ever do I'm going to snatch it up right away. Edited to add: it was a Valentino.

Balenciaga Classic City - didn't know that they would increase the price. Was in Paris almost bought but i didn't. It was less expensive there than here in Indonesia plus you get tax Refund..saving up for it

A vintage (1993) Crocodile Kelly 28cm in great condition two years ago. I couldn't buy it because it didn't come with a CITES permit. I still have photos of it on my phone and still look at them and thinking if only...

Marni fall 2013, one of their calf hair 'crosses' handbags - it was even on sale on their website! I was unexpectedly drawn to the color combo and the graphic, even though I normally prefer more muted/neutral handbags...plus love calf hair! :loveeyes:

But at the time, I couldn't justify buying a handbag I knew would more likely then not just sit in my closet for fear of balding spots and just wouldn't carry a lot...Long after I got over Celine cabas and Prada tote, still thinking about this one though

Hello all! Just wanted to jump right in and participate :)

I regret most everything I've sold or given away, in the guise of simplifying my bag life -- which doesn't really happen since after disposing you'd want to get right back up and buy some more (Sigh.)

- A yellow LV petit noe, the one with purple lining
- A white and silver Goyard croisiere
- A white Goyard fidji (and now they don't make them anymore)
- A black Goyard Jeanne MM
- A Tod's chocolate suede fringe crossbody

All not in the same year of course. Wow, that's quite a few. Should have kept them all.
What was I thinking?!

I can't remember the name, but it was studded YSL tote with a royal blue suede lining. A coworker of mine has it and it was absolutely gorgeous and I found one on Bluefly but at the time I just didn't have the money to buy a new bag. Of course, it sold quickly right after :(
