For those of you that own the card holder, does your side look like this (circled)? I just want to know if this is normal or if I should return it...

Looks like the glazing not finished properly. Someone else on another thread has posted an issue too.

I actually really really like it and was considering it but I saw the Chanel version sooner and chose that one... In hindsight I am happy I did as they are the same price but you get leather with Chanel ... I find the LV one too expensive
do u happen to have the name of the Chanel? trying to locate one but don't know where to start.

I have the YSL wallet but still thinking of the recto slg. I am trying to justify buying it given that I am still in love with my Porte Carte Zippé.
the YSL is missing the hidden pocket
Thanks for the info on the missing hidden pocket. I still feel like Saint Laurent is a better deal at almost half price of the canvas Recto Verso while only missing a key ring and hidden pocket. How do you like your YSL wallet? How is wear?

I will be receiving mine on Monday, I bought the empreinte one in black. At first I was wondering if it is too slim for my use but I carry so little with me that I think it will be fine. The less, the better - is my motto with things I wanna carry around. For months now, I have had only the key pouch with me that has the cards and cash I need in it and the keys hanging out of it... so I won't need the keys to fit inside on this piece either. The only thing that makes me wonder is the high price for a slg..

I like it. It is an alternative option for my Porte Carte Zippé. No wear and tear but I have only used it a handful of times. I still gravitate with my beloved Porte Carte Zippé. I do find it bulkier compared to my favorite wallet.

Do you think the empreinte leather would be flexible enough to accommodate a key fob and hold cards in the back slots? The canvas seems too stiff but I wonder if the leather would work?

Don’t think so, I’m 99% sure that wouldn’t fit. I just received the empreinte one and I’m going to return it. I tried out today what fits in there, and I have to say I was disappointed. I only carry like 8 cards and still got the recto verso to look like a little bit deformed or ”curled”... i dont know how to explain it. When you put the 3-4 cards in the card slots, it makes that side of the key pouch so stiff/hard that you can’t put almost anything to the middle zipper pocket and it makes the whole item curl/bend a bit. When I tried my home keys to go in it, it was looking really bad  And it’s not only my piece cause I noticed it also in a few youtube videos.

I agree with you. This is a versatile piece but I think you still need a separate cles for keys. I think LV are trying to make this a one stop piece, but in reality it doesn’t quite work. If you plan to use it for cards, receipts and a bit of cash/coins, then ok. The key chain could really only fit two very thin keys in that zip compartment once all the other sections are in use.

This is what I had mentioned about the monogram version earlier and why I returned it. I bought it thinking I could replace three items (cles, card holder, coin holder) in order to justify the price for an slg. It would have been the perfect slg had we been able to put keys (even just one fob and one key) in the zipped section while still being able to use the back four card slots and front hidden pocket/flap pocket.
