I'm looking for a shoulder, crossbody or satchel bag in neon yellow to match my 2014 fluo yellow Valentino pumps. For me, the most important thing is the perfect color match, so I'm pretty much open to all styles of bags (except clutches and giant totes) even though I prefer the styles I mentioned.

I haven't had any luck finding any 2014 Valentino fluo yellow bags except a clutch, which is a no go for me. I absolutely LOVE the Saint Laurent Sac De Jour Nano in neon yellow, but that bag is also from 2014 and it's basically a unicorn at this point. For Spring/Summer 2015, I've been seeing beautiful shades of yellow from premier and contemporary designers, but none are a match for my shoes.

I did find one bag I that seems to be a pretty good match based on pics I saw online (I'll post a pic below, as I can't upload more than one pic on this thread using the mobile site). Of course, I'll have to see it IRL, but I thought I would ask if anyone here has any recommendations for a neon yellow bag. TIA! :smile1:

I would consider one of the Rainbow bags from the current Valentino line or maybe the Butterfly bag which is a bit more subdued. They both would go with the shoe you have. I think you'd get more mileage and a nicer look if you go that route. It's going to be hard to get an exact match and I'm not sure I would want the matchy matchy look? If the color is off even a bit, it will look off, where as if you get a multi colored bag it won't matter really.

I would also think about going with another bright color for your bag such as a cobalt blue, red, or hot pink-another fun color. All those colors would look good with the shoes. I guess it depends what you intend on wearing for clothing too.

Cute shoes!

Sophie Hulme makes a colour called chartreuse that may be suitable.

I have the first one, the leather is so soft.

I do like the first one, without the metal square plates at the base of the handles, it kind of reminds me of the Sac de Jour. I will see if Sophie Hulme bags are available locally for me to take a look at. Thanks, Wudge! :smile1:

OOh look what I found on Mallories-brand new with tags for $2375, I bet this would look gorgeous. The gold studs are so pretty! They are calling it yellow fluor lime, maybe the same color?

That is a good point, gail13, about maybe considering a bag that has neon yellow in it, but that's not solid yellow. I definitely agree that if the color is off a little bit, it's a no no. Ideally, I would find a perfect match neon yellow bag, but if that's not possible then a bag with neon yellow in it would be my second choice.

I do have a fuchsia bag that looks nice with the yellow shoes, as long as I wear neutral clothing and maybe a matching pink and yellow statement necklace. Thanks for your helpful suggestions! :hugs:

Oh, if only it was the one without the studs all over the bag!!! I love the rockstud tote with the rockstuds only on the edges and the handles and straps, this one filled with studs is a bit much I think...but if it ends up being my only option for a matching bag...I may think about it some more. Thank you for finding this, I'm not 100% going to pass on this just yet! :smile1:

Princess, maybe you need this beautiful swing coat from the Valentino 2013 collection -so gorgeous!!!! Same color as the shoes I think.:graucho: Also on Mallories.

I used to think it was a bit much too until I saw a woman in NY last year with the red stud tote and it was completely gorgeous and changed my mind. I guess you'd have to see it IRL. I would check consignment sites for other options.

Perhaps this one, although I know Ebay is not without challenges sometimes. i think it may be the same color and it's new.

If I still lived in Paris, I would...but where I live now, I hardly ever wear coats. You're so bad, such a good shopper and enabler you are! I'm on ban island, but I have a free pass if I get a bag that makes me wear shoes I haven't worn before! :lolots:

Hmmmm, I've never seen the all-studded rockstud tote IRL, so I'm only going by pics. I just think the plainer version is more timeless. Maybe I have to look on the Valentino forum and see if anyone has the all-studded tote in mod pics. I've been checking my usual consignment sites, Yoogi's Closet, Fashionphile and Ann's Fabulous Finds, but nothing yet.

I also have been checking eBay and wondered why I haven't seen this one before! Then I saw this bag is in Asia, I only look in the US to buy stuff. I'm also not liking how the front of the bag is already wrinkled a little, not good for a new bag.

You'll find something eventually! Did you check out Yoox? I think this Chanel would be so much fun too.....let us know what you find! It also shows how all these colors go together so well.
