I see. Unfortunately when it comes to black leather luxury bags the price range will usually run above 2k and I definitely understand having a budget. I am a LV girl and really the only bag in the 2k range is the Epi Neverfull which would do great for the things you want to carry.

You can get SDJ or a Givenchy Antigona pre-loved in excellent condition for $2k or under. Some of the older Gucci's too. You can also get Ferragamo or Mulberry bags new for about $2k. There are options for you.

I got my medium Antigona NWT from Tradesy when they were having one of their big sale events for under $1700. Definitely keep an eye out on the big sites for the July 4 holiday sales.

Humm have you thought of a preowned Hermes White Bus. I have one in black chèvre and love it. A very undervalued bag imho.

I believe the Ralph Lauren Ricky 33 could be a great option for you, it is very spacious and easy to carry. The retail price might be a tad more than what you’ve mentioned as your budget, however I’ve managed to find mine for just over 400$ on eBay in excellent condition.

I strongly recommend Salvatore Ferragamo bags if you like their desing. Amazing quality for good price if you get it 2nd hand in similar price range like Contemporary Designers bags.

I agree with @ipsum that Ferragamo quality is excellent. I don't know about pricing, but Ferragamo Fiamma or Sofia are both solid options. Here’s my Fiamma in cornflower blue (“New Iris" shade). This is also a top handle tote with shoulder carry option. It's unusual though, and I get a lot of compliments on my Fiamma
