Received the Glitter Mini Soft Trunk from the Mens SS22 collection.

There are some flaws. Hard to get in pictures, but the glitter lyer looks scrat or cracked in some parts. But I still think it’s a keeper!

It‘s a beautiful bag , I almost bought it but changed my mind because another bag caught my attention
I personally think you should ask for an exchange, to get a perfect piece.

I can’t exchange it unfortunately since it really hasn’t popped up in stores often and has barely been available online.
This was an online purchase based off of a “recommendation” my CA sent me on the app (shout out to @maxynot for connecting us)! So I couldn’t inspect it in person before purchase.

Despite the flaws (cracked layer in some parts, scratches in others), I think I’m going to keep it because it’s so hard to come by.

I just wonder how I could do that when it hasn’t been available in stores near me and I’ve only seen it available online once. I definitely want to try to exchange it though!!

You could go to LV store, show your CA and request CA to order another piece for you.
My CA normally let me keep the bag while waiting for another piece to arrive, makes sure the other piece is perfect, then exchange.

Out of curiosity, does the glitter “falls off” after the bag? like those kiddy glitter dresses will “litter” glitter where ever they go?

It doesn’t fall off at all! I’ve rubbed the bag many ways to test and not 1 piece of glitter has come off.

For the price of the item I would not keep anything that presents defects, even if it's hard to come by or sold out... Looks really good and definitely a statement piece though!

Agree with this point, after all its not a $29 bag from Target, you should expect the very best! I would 100% return/exchange!

It's a really nice bag.. the glitter effect is very cool in person. Under the right light it just sparkles..

How is the bag holding up, any new scratches or wear caused by use?

So I was able to get a replacement! The new bag is much better, but the straps have some wrinkling. I figure I’d rather have the wrinkled strap than a cracked bag. It’s less noticeable and probably easier to repair.
So happy I tried for a replacement. Thank you for the advice! So happy with this new one.
