im looking to gift my daughter a card holder. She has a Chanel mini. And the Chanel card holders are too expensive.
Can anyone recommend another designer with a well made card holder.

I have to say that, while not up there in the premier designer brands, I'm very happy with my Coach card holder from the Kaffe Fassett collection. I currently have 17 cards in it which is probably about the max.fullsizeoutput_7bf.jpegfullsizeoutput_7c1.jpegfullsizeoutput_7c3.jpeg

Do half folded USD bills fit in center slot without sticking out?

I may consider the Citizen Twill card holder in Epsom calfskin. Epsom is much more durable than other calfskins. It’s resistant to scratching, also lightweight and cleans with a simple wipe using a damp cloth.

They do, but it's a tight fit. The top of the bill reaches the top of the card holder, if that makes sense. I don't carry a lot of cash so I just fold them once more

It sort of makes sense.

I don’t carry a lot of cash either. As long as half folded (folded once) USD bills don’t stick out of the center slot, this card holder is a go for me! If they do stick out, then maybe a deal breaker.

I recommend the YSL card holders. I own the regular ones with the two card slots on each side and the YSL logo in the front, I also owned the thin one with a zipper on top and a few card slots on one side.. I like them both a lot, great price and quality!

Check out Saint Laurent cardholders. They have beautiful designs and I don't think I've heard anything other than good reviews regarding the quality.

Also Prada, especially in their signature Saffiano leather.

And Louis Vuitton canvas pieces are great, of course.

If placed correctly, they don't stick out...but if you have multiple bills, you have to make sure they're all aligned as there's not even a millimeter to spare.

Got it!

I had the Goyard St. Sulpice cardholder and same as you described. It was canvas with all leather interiors and a very tight fit nonetheless.

I just placed an order for one on Hermes.com. Normally, I would go in the boutique, but my local boutique is closed indefinitely due to the coronavirus :sad:
