Reapplying sunscreen mid day

If I’m on a beach or by the pool, I apply sunscreen every hour although I don’t ever stay in an open sun. Only in shadow.

In the city I use setting spray spf 30 from the Cool. And sometimes powder from the Kiko Milano spf 30 or Enough spf 50

You're supposed to reapply sunscreen every two hours. S u p e r g o o p makes powder and setting sprays that make it easy to reapply if you're already wearing makeup. They are a great brand, very reputable for their sunscreens and they are cruelty-free!
I brought huge bottles of super goop but am not a huge fan of them tbh, using the rest (which is a lot at around 50 fl oz) and then let it go.

I do reapply every two hours (don’t wear makeup) when possible when I’m outside because I had scare with childhood cancer as well as almost-skin-cancer-but-two-separate-lab-testing-says-not-definitive.

old me thought it’s only for skin appearance or that young cannot get skin cancer. Obv wrong.

I also use a sunscreen stick for reapplying but please note that applying with a sunscreen powder or stick isn't as protective as a whole layer of normal liquid sunscreen, so I wouldn't recommend this if you're in the full sun all day or wear additional protection like a hat or visor. There are some good informative videos about it on youtube.

What do you do when you need to reapply sunscreen on your face when you're out and don't want to redo your makeup?

Sunscreen spray? I will like to get the Habit mist but they don't ship to Canada.

For continuity reasons I use this... It's available at Shoppers and Wal-Mart.

The reason for this is, that a person can get colour very quickly without them realizing they have, even during the winter and their faces can't change shade or colour throughout a film or television shoot, unless the script calls for it, for example, if the character went on vacation and came back with a tan.

Normally you would apply your skin care which usually has an SPF of 15, then you would apply your foundations and powders that have their own SPF ratings, then mist your sunscreen all over afterwards.

I just lightly mist it all over (Obviously, you purse your lips together so they are not exposed, close your eyes and hold your breath). This sunscreen has a matte finish, so it's not shiny and you don't have to rub in it when applied. Also it won't disturb any make-ups.

Anyways, I just reapply every 1 -2 hours on our actors, especially the front and back of their necks and their ears including behind them. Normally you would do any minor touch-ups before you reapply.

I wouldn't recommend applying this particular brand of sunscreen on before your make-up, as it will make it harder for applying and blending, as it has a matte finish... You can apply it before, but again your make-up application will be difficult.

I always keep it handy...
