Oh yeah, I must add that the scratches are not on the metal straps... they're on the outer ring of the watch itself
. But I guess a dent was bound to happen sooner or later, sadly.

I agree! The Shine is really pretty. I like it best with the white (or maybe it's off-white) strap.i think shine is gorgeous. you may be able to gt an extra watch-strap and switch it out - it is gorgeous!
I know at one point they were using CZ on their watches instead of real diamonds
I think they are mid-tier watches... I would put them slightly below Movado. I know at one point they were using CZ on their watches instead of real diamonds and I can't think of a serious watch-maker doing that. I believe I have seen Raymond Weil on Overstock.com and other like sites.
Raymond Weil does have diamond watches.....they make them at lower price points....It's Bulova and Citizen that are more likely to do that. Raymond Weill is a Swiss brand. You can pay over 3000 for one their watches...They do have markdowns, but the fact is, most watch manufactureres do, except for Rolex. Because I believe Raymond Weill watches are trend-driven, but they do have nice watches. They are Swiss Made. You cannot say that of Bulova, Seiko or Citizen. or ESQ. Even some Coach watches are no longer entirely Swiss made. (I'm really into watches.)Oh dear. I don't care for that. I'll have to make sure they're real diamonds before I purchase one.
I looked at them again today at Bloomies and I almost bought a Parsifal. It was a discontinued style so it was 25% off. It had the MOP dial and diamond markers. It really was gorgeous. I'm still tempted to go back and get it. I know I want one, but I just bought two other watches this week so I feel like maybe I should hold off for a while.
On the other hand, that Parsifal was calling my name. I may go back tomorrow and look at it again.

Ok....let me correct something I typed without thinking. Most watches designated Swiss Made are only required to have 50 percent of the watch made in Switzerland and that must include the movement....So it si possible to have a Swiss watch (one that has a Swiss movement as opposed to Swiss Made). Some watch manufacturers make no distinction between Swiss and Swiss Made on the dial of the watch and usage may have changed over the years. I did see some Chorus watches marked Swiss. (RW), so those I am not entirely sure of them being Swiss Made. You can be sure that they will at least have a Swiss movement. Sorry. Don't want to feed misinformation.

I appreciate your thoughtfulness and comments. Although I enjoy some really lovely pieces of jewelry, watches are completely new to me.
