Quick advice plz: which Sapphire ring for my mother?

I prefer the style of the first one, but I'd be nervous about the 10K gold and the seller.

I would pick #2. The first one sapphire is too small. The small diamond surrounding it "ate" it up. Plus the color of the sapphire is too light. The second one sapphire is in the leading role, and its color is richer. JMHO.
