rliu4423 where did you get the Burgundy with GHW? are you sure the name is not called Claret? Please show pics. Thanks.

Hi,
I'm not actually sure of the name... I got it I think two years ago? I called several MK boutiques and I found it at the forum shops at Caesars palace in vegas. I'll post up a picture of it!

Today I went to Macy's to look at Hamilton Chain leather satchel. When I tried it on wearing the long strap the shorter handles would stick out which makes it look not good. Is it suppose to be like this? How can I prevent the shorter straps from sticking out like that?

I don't know -- mine fall flat against the bag. Maybe that one is stiff, you can just work them in, the leather will soften.

How does the shape of the bag (e/w satchel) hold up?

I was reading reviews on Macy's and a few people say that once you put your items in, wallet, phone, etc, it doesn't hold it's shape, and will slouch to one side when holding it.

My first designer bag was a Marc by Marc Jacobs Totally Turnlock Lil Shifty bag that lost it's shape after a few months use, which I know is what leather does as it wears in, but it ruined the look of the bag for me, and as a result I am after a new bag.... I want to buy a Hamilton, but I don't want the same loss of shape as I had with my MxMJ!

Does anyone have tips for keeping the leather structure? I also worry that as the strap isn't detachable, the constant weight will make the sides slouch.... has this happened to you?

Sorry, I'm a little panicky over bags losing shape!!! (even though I know some prefer look).

Hi there, I've had my Hamilton for a year now and it's VERY slouchy. It Does NOT hold it's shape AT ALL (I have the large tote). I actually stopped using it 6 mo ago bc of this reason but just started using it again. The handles also stretch if you put lots of things in it. The only way it holds it's shape is if you stuff it to the top with clothes or something. Everytikr I hold it in the crook of my arm even with a few items in my bag, it still slouches (more in the middle area below the padlock than the sides).

Did u end up getting the bag?
