Question

I find that as I've matured, my tastes have changed. I'm currently in a very classic phase, whereas several years ago I was more modern and before that more romantic. I find that now I'll wear really just one thing, a ring, or earrings, but not lots of things all at once. Yes, I reset things and I, too, keep wanting to acquire more, but mostly just things to fill in the collection. (At least that's what I *tell* myself...)

I don't think I have a crazy amount of jewelry but the pieces that I have are all nice pieces that are pretty classic and that I wear. I'm very selective with my jewelry collection and when there were pieces I "grew out of" which did happen a bit from my early to mid 20's I sold those pieces. I guess I tend to "edit" my collection so that I love and wear all of it. If there is something that is just sitting in the jewelry box and doesn't get worn and I can't see myself wearing it a lot in the future, I know it is time to trade it in for something I love and will wear.

I totally agree with this! I like adding to my collection and I like wearing different jewelry everyday and mix and match my jewelry.

I have too much jewelry that i don't wear. Like gem rings from family when i was a kid and small pieces like that. Some earrings that i never wear. I don't want to get rid of it but i don't wear it either.

New member to these forums looking for some help. I want to buy a necklace for my girlfriend. We haven't been dating for a long time only couple of months, but she has been struggling with school and some other issues in life. I really want to cheer her up. Of the ones you posted, I like this one the best.

And back to the topic - I don't have too many pieces because I think through purchases a lot before I buy, moreso than with other accessories. I think I have only one item I put on eBay. I defintely could use some more fine jewelry, but I'm still young so there is plenty of time for that!
