Question on the "classic" bags

At my dh insistence i got a classic maddison satchel yesterday(i mean who is gonna turn down a purse offer lol)

I cannot compare it to the original from '86(IIRC) but the leather is way nicer than most bags of today. It's in the British Tan and should compliment a lot of things. It completely smells of leather which he prefers i use in bags ;) I have never seen any of the newer release classics i am unsure if they make it here or not as i have not seen them in my boutiques, a bit shocked to find this at the factory.
