Hi ladies. I made decision and bought gmop pave bracelet and wore it for 4-5 hours. I noticed this stain looking things on it. Is it from my skin? I am going to take it to boutique to see if they can clean but my apt is on Monday and I am worried. No idea what this is. I used no water, no lotion basically nothing on my skin that could cause this. I know all the rules for grey mop.
Have you noticed anything like this on yours? I bought it on Aug 4 from boutique, basically brand new.

Hi and congrats on your new purchase! Sorry to hear this happened to you, I’ve never had this happen to mine.. The matte dulling stain is a bit concerning, if I had to guess it might be alcohol corrosion. Is it possible that you were using hand sanitizer and some of it spilled or ran down to your wrist? Hope the boutique is able to restore it, keep us updated!

Did you try wiping it off with a soft microfiber cloth? Some of my stones bracelets look dirty a couple of minutes after I put them on (however MOP doesn’t leave as many marks) but it clears as I wipe them off after wearing them.
Keep us updated on what the stores say!

Hi no, no alcohol or anything. So worried.

No, I did not do anything. Trying somehow wait till Monday to take it in. I hope it’s not from skin because we are supposed to wear it over skin and not clothing…,thank yiu guys for your responses. I will let you know. I am just shocked because I bought it on Aug 4 and wore it twice…

In the meantime, I think you can try to wipe it down with a dry microfiber cloth. It can’t the MOP. And if it’s just dirt, you will feel better!

Congratulations on your bracelet. Hope you get it fixed.
It appears to be from the skin, perhaps skin oil or slight perspiration.
The bracelet seems to have been snug, just based on the marks/outline on the skin that’s visible on the photos. I had a similar reaction previously on a pendant. Not vca but mop nonetheless. I wiped it with microfiber cloth and it looked better after.

I found an amazing article on how to clean MOP safely.
I googled and saw multiple similar suggestions.
Wet cloth is ok and a tiny bit of gentle soap to clean but do not submerge and wipe dry right away after.

Hi, this happened to my magic bracelet. It was just the GMOP motif that had this fuzzy scratched looking coating (which was around a month old and barely worn). It’s a defect. Bring it back. They either replace it or refund you. They tried to replace mine but the jeweler that they used somehow either broke or scratched the new motif, in the end they thought it best to give me a refund.

No amount of wiping with microfiber cloths or cleaning from the boutique will help. We tried all that. The boutique also know me well enough to know I treat all my pieces carefully and rotate my pieces. It’s definitely a defect. None of my other pieces with GMOP ever did that. Only that one particular GMOP on my magic bracelet.
