^^hmm I dont think thats allowed on the forum?

Oh sorry if its not, I'm new so I didn't know. But honestly I don't mind either way, I'm not big on following rules that aren't that big of a deal. I see it as helping someone else out or giving something back in exchange for a little help and that never hurts in the real world.......and the world could use more of that.

Thank you. Oh and I forgot to mention earlier.....I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who took a few minutes to chip in a piece of advice......and I think its only appropriate that yo are thanked in some way. So, seeing that this is a fashion forum with fashion savvy (and somehwat fashion hungry, lol) women, I have a $500 gift card from Tiffany & co that I don't really don't have any use for, so if you are interested let me know and I will gladly give it to you.

Thanks again and I'll keep checking in every so often (most of the time from my blackberry) to give advice or to get some. Regards -Nader

Oh and please note that I am NOT selling it, so don't e-mail me about buying it. I will absolutely NOT sell it to you at any cost.

I just counted and I gave you 5 suggestions. I should have chosen sapphires as that is my birthstone. Anyway, you made a beautiful purchase on your own. I will work on ideas for Christmas!

Okay so today I browsed quite a few stores and I came across a set (not a set, but I will make it a set) of beautiful Tiffany & Co sapphire earrings and a sapphire ring to match! I'm going to get her a Buccellati sterling silver jewelry box to put them in and wrap it up for her in beautiful white wrapping with a silk pink bow and a small Jay Strongwater love bird ornament to go with it. I think the pieces are classic and she can wear them now and when she is older, too.

Here is a link to the earrings, but I couldn't find the ring online. Now only to figure out where to take her to dinner and then I'm done for one year, thank god, lol. Then I can relax until Christmas, lol.

Nader444m - I don't know if this is allowed by forum rules to accept a gift. Perhaps one of the mods could intervene here. If they say it is ok, you can always send it to King of Prussia - Tiffany store in Pennsylvania to HoKaplan. But I don't want to break any forum rules. I've never been in this situation. It sounds too good to be true. I appreciate your generosity but wouldn't you want to save it to go to a future purchase for someone you know than to a complete stranger?

If you want a moderator to intervene that is fine. No, I don't mind giving it away, I think its always good to give back when you have so much yourself.

Anyway, feel free to fill me. -Nader

I started a new thread looking for Swanky or another mod. I don't want to break any rules. If I'm allowed to accept this, I will donate 1/2 to someone going through hard times to bring some cheer. It will make me feel good. Hopefully we'll hear back soon. If I'm not allowed to accept your generous gift by forum rules, thanks anyway for your attempted kindness and generousity. Your gf and mom are blessed to have you.

I've been told it is ok to accept a gift. Perhaps you can transfer it to the Tiffany store in King of Prussia Mall, PA. If a manager can hold it under HoKaplan, that would be great. Please let me know if you still plan on doing this. I still don't believe it is true....

lol, people are so weary of generosity these days, but oh well.

Anyway, I don't know where the King of Prussia store is, east coast I believe. You need to give me the complete mailing address of the store with the Store Manager's name so I can attn it to him.

Also, should I enclose a note saying give it to HoKaplan? Does he know you?

I just spoke to an assistant manager named Roland at our local Tiffany store. He doesn't understand how you received a $500 gift card because he said Tiffanys has never ever had a spend and get back promo. Is this unique to Los Angeles? Perhaps you can have your store manager send it to Roland at King of Prussia cause he totally does not believe it! Please write to hold for HoKaplan. This store is in Pennsylvania. I'm sure your Tiffany store will have the address.
