Question for Cartier LOVE bracelet wearers: Has yours given you any trouble (screws coming undone)?

as for me, I have had the new system since November 22 and only took it off this November (1 year later) so I could try on some new bracelets :angel: Never had any issues and never had to tighten in the meantime.

edited to add: just now saw that the poll is only for the new system.. but my answer is still valid (no issues)

I think there are three systems though, no? Old system where screws come out (original) and one where they don’t. Seems like the original may be the best. Or maybe we just don’t hear from those people because the learned to live with it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think there are even four and yes, according to the SAs the old was the best. You just may lose the screws when taking off the bracelet. They went from good to mediocre to bad in my eyes.

My 5-year old love bracelet’s screws would loosen periodically. I had the screw system updated to the new system, and voila, absolutely no issues. My 6-month old bracelet came with the newest screw system and it is problem free as well. I usually wear them stacked. And I don’t fear removing them or switching arms once in a while. I wouldn’t do this frequently, however. I’m very happy with mine.

but I thought you updated to the new system and found it better?
I am very happy that I waited despite intermediate price increases, haven’t had any issues with the screws with the new update but also I would be so much more devastated if I lost my clou :cool:

ah ok… sorry to hear this! I must have misunderstood your post on the previous page then. but honestly I wouldn’t mind if mine were locked - I find the love bracelet super comfortable and do not intend to take it off unless absolutely necessary :)

I’ve been wearing my regular love for 3.5 years with no issue. It’s now getting loose just hours after I tighten it. I’m afraid it will fall off of me without noticing. I’ll have to send it to repair

You can have your bracelet updated to the new screw system free of charge. They call it an enhancement. I had my 5-year-old bracelet updated and have had zero issues with loosening, even stacked. They will likely polish it as well so if you don’t want that done you should specify it.

Were you able to do the enhancement without the polish? I asked mine to be done without it and they still ended up refinishing the bracelet. (I'm fighting them now)

Mine wasn’t “refinished” at all, it looked better than before with a nice polishing, but it wasn’t refinished, and the edges aren’t softer
