Question about WG Love

I'm a white gold person, but when I saw the white gold cartier in person, I decided to go with the yellow gold. The white gold bracelet felt flat to me. The yellow gold was so warm and lush looking that for me it was a no brainer.

I really noticed a difference between the rhodium plated diamond WG and the plain WG jewelry. My husband has a WG Love wedding band and it looks more like steel or tarnished silver. The different SAs at the stores I went to said that Cartier did this to make the plain WG more unisex.

I just wondered why many of the plain WG bracelets on here look so shiny/bright and like the ones I saw at Cartier that WERE rhodium plated. Is it the older bracelets that are like this?

I really just wanted a plain WG bracelet to match his wedding band (mine is from Tiffany,) but, I really, really dislike the finish. I wish the plain platinum wasn't twice the cost of the WG :graucho:

I Want to get a plain WG with no diamonds and would be stacking it up with mr YG love and RG clou. I wanted s contrast and it looks really good. The rhodium polish in the diamond one would need a re polish after every few months/ years and Cartier would do nothing free. So imho white gold should give a good contrast to the yg+ RG or else all put together would look very chunky. Does anyone agree with me.

I 100% percent agree with you!! I just added a WG LOVE to MY YG LOVE and YG JUC. I love the look of the two metals. I actually had my YG JUC and YG LOVE stacked on one arm and my WG on my other for a few days. I also thought thought that looked great. I love all the metals. The only metal I was hesitant on was RG and that is because both my girlfriend's RG now look YG, so i figured whats the point. LOVE your stack!! I will post pics in daylight.:smile1:;)

I have the wg cuff with one diamond. Love it. Price is cheaper too.

I actually like the WG love compared to the rhodium plated JUC! At certain times of the day, when the sun shines on my WG love it has a beautiful shine! It makes my heart go googoo! LOL. But at first I didn't like it unluster, flat color. Today it is a different story. Thanks.

The one without diamonds isn't rhodium plated so it isn't going to be as "bright".
Wait, really? I could have sworn all WG Cartier items had a rhodium coating. I'm almost positive my plain WG Love ring has a rhodium coating on it. Why would they put a rhodium coating on the plain WG rings but not the bracelets? Wouldn't it look yellow-ish without rhodium anyway?

Only WG with jewels have rhodium. At least for the love bangle.

Can anyone post a picture of a white gold with diamond + white gold without diamond stack? I have a WG with diamond and can't decide whether I want the WG with colored stones or WG without diamond as my second. Not sure I am completely sold on mixing metals either. Thanks!
