Looking at lots of pictures here, I have noticed that the plain WG bracelets don't seem to have the same "pinkish" tone that they do in the store.

I saw a platinum Love and the diamond one, and they all look perfectly silver. The plain just looks off, or tarnished IRL.

Are the bracelets in these shots just photographing differently, or did I just see off bracelets at Cartier? Then again, they did look the same way in 3 different stores...

I would prefer to get a plain love, without diamonds (the screws seem smaller in the 4 diamond variety,) but, I think my husband will croak if I ask for a platinum :graucho:

The one without diamonds isn't rhodium plated so it isn't going to be as "bright".

I have a white gold love and it reminds me of a highly polished stainless steel! So it definitely has more of the grayish undertones, versus the rhodium plated white gold you get when it has diamonds.

Personally I like this version of white gold, but damn it scratches up badly and it shows!

oh so badly. even a SA asked me if I wanted it polished soon, or keep it as its "vintage" look. honestly i didn't think of it as being so used up, it never really bothered me.

Honhon, thanks a lot for your reply! Do you have another love to compare, RG or YG, to see if they get older the same way? I'm asking because I still can't make up my mind between WG diamonds or PG plain..

i have a RG i got around the same time as WG 10 diamond. RG still looks very okay. Yeah, maybe midway to "vintage" but to me it looks newer and shiner than my WG. Maybe its the fact that RG has no diamond? Also RG turns like YG. RG lost its pink shine, but I personally like it better....not too fond of strong pink hue

Changing colour its exactly what stops me buying the PG(( After your story to be honest I'm confused even more and completely not sure which one to choose..))
If I may ask, which one do you personally prefer most? Easier scratched WG, but sparking because of the diamonds, or beautifully aged PG? Thanks))

I Want to get a plain WG with no diamonds and would be stacking it up with mr YG love and RG clou. I wanted s contrast and it looks really good. The rhodium polish in the diamond one would need a re polish after every few months/ years and Cartier would do nothing free. So imho white gold should give a good contrast to the yg+ RG or else all put together would look very chunky. Does anyone agree with me.

I'm a white gold person, but when I saw the white gold cartier in person, I decided to go with the yellow gold. The white gold bracelet felt flat to me. The yellow gold was so warm and lush looking that for me it was a no brainer.
