Question about the metal/leather tag

RH Cities still come with metal tags, they're just not made of Sterling silver anymore (which is what the 925 stamp means).

The 09 Cities that they sell with boobies at the moment from the Bal website are a special edition, though, and those seem to have leather tags.

Hello everyone!
I'm a huge Bal fan and LOVE this forum!
Now that I've seen many of your gorgeous Balbags I'm starting to wondering about mine...why my covered-city has a leather tag instead of a silver one?
I see u guys say that the tag for city should be silver. So is this normal?
I bought it at Barneys New York in San Francisco for $1395 last year.
It's a covered city in black.
I'm not worried about the authenticity and I really love the bag. Just a tiny little question mark in head...

Hope some expert here can clear my doubt~thanx!
p.s. I just ordered the new pewter metallic...can't wait to receive it......

I think the giant and covered hardware bags have leather tags and only regular hardware bags have silver tags. Covered hardware is larger than regular and smaller than giant so isn't considered regular hardware.

Congrats on the pewter purchase!

Does this bag have the metal tag or the leather embossed kind?

i think i'm going to cave and sacrifice on leather for color cause i'm gonna get it on sale....bad, i know! lol
