Question about Epi Alma (especially the larger sizes)

Hi all

At the LV store, when trying out the Alma PM in Epi leather, I noticed that a few of the pieces were sort of ... dented (for want of a better word). The shape was slightly distorted like someone had pinched in the top. The zipper was also not running straight across the top - it had a dip in the middle. I wish I had taken a picture to post - so much easier to SHOW than TELL :) :) Anyway, my question is this - is the dent fixable? If one stuffs the bag (with, say, lots of paper), will the dent smooth out over time? Interestingly enough, none of the smaller Alma's had this issue.

Must have been improper storage I am guessing. Good to know that this is the exception and not the norm

Ive seen Almas PM in horrible condition as you described because the way the SAs handle when they store the bag ( couldn't care less) and I realised zippers on alma are not as straight as it used to be. I had to choose mine over few pieces. As for alma bb, it holds slightly better shape on the top but some zippers look tacky too. So far, I never stumble across a nice zipper top like my alma bb bought in 2014.

I have an Alma PM in vernis and my bag has dented on the top near the zipper. I don't carry the bag everyday and am pretty careful with it and honestly don't know what happened to it. It is now stuffed with paper sitting in my closet hoping the dent will come out. Fingers crossed!
