question about e-ing and honeymoon!!!

We LOVE LOVED LOVED it! When we went it was still pretty primitive there compared to here, no McD's or US style shopping but we loved that about it. The locals were beyond friendly and showed much appreciation for us being there, unlike other islands we've visited.

Oh they are definitely insured but there was no way I was going to risk it in Hawaii. It also was kind of an interesting sociology experiment as the set on QVC was a ROCK compared to normally and we got GREAT service because I guess they thought we were there to spend spend spend.

We were just on our HM last week! We left our rings, only my e-ring is insured at the moment, in the key safe in our hotel room. There was a digital safe but DH didn't feel it was as secure since it was in a draw and not attached to the wall. We didn't wear them to the beach but it was fun to put them back on at night for dinner!! A lot of ppl asked if we were HMing and it was fun to say "yes" and show off the rings if they asked to see them.
sometimes when i travel i just wear a plain band. other times i wear my actual wedding set. either way i would never wear my diamond rings swimming, snorkeling, etc, but maybe that's just me.

i left my jewelry at home. my mom got me a faux ring (and i absolutely love it- it's really beautiful!) and i wore that on our honeymoon. i just couldn't worry about losing it! i often wear it in the summertime, too, when i know i'll be swimming alot.
i once wore mine river rafting on class 5 rapids. i had forgotten to take it off before leaving on the trip...and we were camping. so i figured it was safer to keep it on my hand (it fits very snug)

Yes. I've always worn my e-ring and wedding band on vacation-I trust the hotel safes and especially since they are insured I don't worry too much about them. I would wear them swimming but I do love wearing them at night! They're too special to leave home and it's so fun when you're on your honeymoon!
i think im going to take it...and if we snorkel or do something in the water i will just leave it in the safe in the room, so that way like you said at night i can wear it at night and when we go out!!!
