I have one of these rings. It was bought for me in 2004--at the time, I believe the price was under $800. The all white gold version of the Trinity ring is now out of production, but I can't say when Cartier stopped making/selling it.

Thank you! I appreciate the help! All I know about my ring was that it was bought at the Cartier in Palo Alto at the Stanford shopping center, and I also found out that particular Cartier has moved to Fashion Valley mall. So now it is not only a discontinued item, but the store no longer exists either!
I think if it were made out of Platinum, it would be way too heavy!
I have one in white gold. It was about $600 in 1998-1999.
I also have a 3 gold one that has "Cartier" stamped on the outside of it. The WG one doesn't have it on the outside, only on the inside.
