Quarantine and handbags

Just out of curiosity, what bag do you carry to work that is bleachable? I’m imagining one of those clear plastic totes that airport concessions workers use to get through security quickly.

I’ve been using baggu totes for work because I can throw them in the washing machine, but they’re not working for me anymore because I have too much stuff to carry now due to the pandemic. Also I found that I’m too lazy/tired to be constantly changing bags and washing them and usually I just quarantine my bag when i get home. I just ordered some larger totes from ll bean that I hope will fit all the stuff I need for work.

I use Longchamp nylon totes for work. I usually buy a new one every couple years, but in 2020 I decided just to use one of my older ones. The inside is fully wipeable, and the nylon is super durable so I just clean the outside with bleach wipes before I leave. The straps are treated leather, so the bleach wipes work on those too! I'm sure it's not the best for the bag long term, but for the cost, I'm fine with it. I'll get a new one if Covid is ever over :)

I work in retail management but I have been using totes that I got as a gwp. They are washable and durable enough. I really don't go anywhere other than work or shopping for essentials anyway. It works for now but I will probably start using my nicer bags again in the spring or summer.

So, I have been working from home since March 16th. I work in an office setting and enjoyed using my bags but since the quarantine I haven't really gone anywhere which I am grateful by the way. If you are in the same ssituation as I am how do you enjoy your collections when you are not really leaving the house? No, I do not go to the grocery my husband does that. I went to the mall few times just to buy something (yes it's LV related)but that's about it.
Yes, I absolutely feel the same.

At the beginning of the lock down, I decided to dye my old LVs because I read too much on the rescue threads, and I realized my DIY skill is not that good if I look closer, so I stopped at the second one. And now, what I do is to take the bags out from the dust bags, clean and polish them. Let's hope they do not get ruined because I babied them too much, like goldfish, they die if one feeds them too much ;)

You can put your bags (maybe not all of them, just a few of your current favorites) on display in the room where you're working. Or if space is an issue, you can pick one for the day and put it on or next to your desk.
I do this. I also take my bags to run errands (even if just going to the grocery store). Perfume, makeup and bags.

I have been using this vinyl Chanel GWP since March!!! I just keep a few cards and cash in it. I cannot wait to toss it in the bin.

I keep buying bags, particularly travel bags. What is wrong with me? I haven’t traveled in a year and likely won’t in 2021. Meanwhile these lovely’s are just collecting dust.
I know how you feel. To escape from it all I find myself buying more fun bags. Pastel colored bags, micro bags or glitter clutches. Most of them are screaming for nights out, sequins and cocktails with the girls. Zoom cocktails are not the same.
