Putting a strap on a Neverfull GM?

I use straps with my Speedys and Deauville all of the time. And even though most people do not like straps with Speedys, I would have to disagree with them because it's very useful to have your hands free with a hand-held bag. But a strap on a Neverfull.... I don't think I like that look.
The strap handles on the Neverfull could be a bit longer - I've even stretched them using water bottles inside my Neverfull which has worked. But I still don't think I would put a strap on my Neverfull. But, I'll try it at home just to experiment!!

Sorry if you want or need a messenger buy one. There are many cute ones. The Paalermo is also a good choice or wait for the odeon to come out 1100 for the Gm. Im sorry mathqueen the strap just is a bit off.
Here are the pics finally. The bag is almost empty; I have an empty accordion file, my calculator, and a few office supplies in it currently. I think it hangs much better when I've got her loaded down. I've been contemplating a base shaper, but I am still undecided.
And yes, I'm a bit fluffy.
