OMG gorgeous!!
Congratulations.
Sounds like that magnificent stone found you!
Please wear it through the delivery....I wore my schlumberger push rings for both and I swear it helps...even for old pros like us!!
Thank you! May I ask what Schlumberger pieces you have received as push presents? I love hearing about beautiful Tiffany pieces! Also did you pick your gift out? I picked out my push present. Hubby tries not to pusuade my jewelry making decisions unless he doesn't like something at all or feels something is a bad idea to buy.

This is gorgeous. What is the actual colour of the stone on the certificate?
Thank you! I get the certificate in a few weeks, but the sales associate said it was a yellow orange diamond. I am actually going to call the store today to get the name off the certificate. Truthfully when I initially saw this ring I didn't even want to take it out of the case. It was by far the deepest stone they had and, even though small, figured it would be over 6k. Every sales associate congratulated me for buying the "yellow orange" diamond. They all said it was by far their favorite ring in the store. Now, I have been a customer of Tiffany's for years (since 19) and although I've had many accolades for my purchases I have never had so many positive remarks about a ring. It was someone's last day in the store and the SA noted that this was her favorite ring and that it also commemorated her last they day with my purchase. To the SA it was serendipitous that the ring left the same day as this employee. As I said, I've had many positive remarks from Tiffany (I even got engaged in a store) but never have a heard such excitement.

Again, it's just gorgeous. And unique which makes it special.
My husband doesn't shop for jewelry. He breaks out in a cold sweat just walking by a jewelry store. All the usual complaints....jewelry is subjectively priced with no real inherent value, they put trick lighting overhead, it's all marketing etc etc....
You've heard it all before.
The allure and and magic of fine jewelry is only appreciated by me.
Sooooo....to answer your question, I picked out my schlumberger rings by myself which is fine with me as I'm a very independent girl who married late so I was used to buying important jewelry/cars/apartments all by myself.
They are both 16-stones. One sapphire for my first and the other ruby for my second (now discontinued). I like them stacked or sometimes instead of my e-ring but wear rarely at the moment.

And, antique shopper, just a thought. I'm wondering if perhaps you did get a "deal" from Tiffany. Is it possible that your ring had been there so long that it was passed over for a price-increase???
Because I agree that ring should be at least $6k.
I don't know how Tiffany handles the pricing of merchandise but it seems possible.
In that case, it appears you really did get the first ever Tiffany "deal"!!!!!!

My husband doesn't shop for jewelry either; he is too scared to purchase me something :p. The 16 Stone rings are TDF! I have one piece with Tiffany rubies and have always wanted more (my piece is a half eternity ruby/diamond channel set Lucida ring). Hopefully Tiffany will bring back rubies one day.
