I agree with you that the colors are rather muted for spring. But I am guessing, similar to the (awful-IMHO) Pantone's Classic Blue color of the year, the intention is to bring some serenity/stability to a rather tumultuous time. =D
I do like the Bleu Brume and Vert criquet though! Looks like they would make awesome wall papers heehee
