Purse Emergency Help

I tend to carry a bag for multiple weeks, but on weekdays only. I always swap out for something smaller on the weekends.

How often do you ladies change your purses? I just a really expensive one and trying to make it last for one year. I am finding, i always switching off on my purses too fast. Any help? Please.

It helps to have ones that work for different functions. You might have a larger bag/tote for when you need to carry more, then a middle sized one for daily stuff, and a smaller crossbody one for when you need to just carry your phone/wallet/keys.

I've made the mistake in the past of just getting ones I like instead of focusing on the function of the bag and my actual needs. But once you get those basic function needs met, you can gradually add more colors, interesting shapes, etc. Personally I find my medium sized bag gets the most usage - I personally use my black Swagger 27 about 3-4 times a week, and my Edie about 2x a week.

I’m so trying to stay in a bag awhile. I sold a lot and bought a lot in a small time frame. I feel like I have a new collection but like you I feel like I should stay in one for awhile. Not sure If I start with newest, oldest most expensive or what. Kinda feeling overwhelmed and want to buy a cheap one and just carry that. Lol. Good luck

I switch my bags every day to coordinate my outfits accordingly. I have quite a large collection that I want to give them all love, lol.
Plus, for me, it's fun to switch and carry something different daily. Never get bored of my bags this way, and they stay in new-like condition longer.

Thank you for responding. I could see changing clothes, jewelry, shoes and watches a few times a day. But changing purses, I feel like it would control my life. How do you guys not let purse changing this excessively control your life?

After trying out the bags with different outfits, I'd get a pretty good sense of what goes with what; the constant rotation ensures the bags in my rather large collection are used.

I switch bags all the time. It's based on what I'm wearing, the weather or what I feel like carrying. Everything is in pouches/cases so it only takes a minute to switch.
I wish I could buy a bag and just use that one. I like to have options!

I switch mine out about every three weeks on average, unless it really clashes with a specific outfit.
