I purchase from the secondary market, and I've never been provided the original purchase receipt. I have the item authenticated and enjoy. I think that receipt was a wrench, move on and enjoy.

It seems that the OP is a totally new member here, and states that they are new to Hermès and therefore may also not know how deeply respected Bababebi’s opinion is. It seems in their follow up post that they are glad for the advice and now are happy with the bag. The bag is gorgeous, so it seems like a happy resolution on all counts.
