Purchase restrictions for 2012?!!

This has been the policy at H for afew years but they couldn't enforce it before as they can't see worldwide purchases. To my knowledge they still can't. However I think (and this has been covered before) it does depend on your relationship with your store.
Yes. I agree with this.

I always transfer money to their account anyway, no CC over the phone.

This topic has popped up a few times over the past years.

^ Is it per calendar year, or for the past 12 months?

That's a good question. I didn't ask specifically, but I only got one birkin last calendar year (II started my Hermes addiction in the fall), and my SA said I get to have 2 (1 per each, or 2 b or 2 k) this year, so I am assuming it s counted as per calendar year! You can confirm with your SA of course!

Just want to clarify- one can buy as many bags as they like, so long as they are not B or K? One can buy one K and one B per year (any leather/exotic), but not 2 K or 2B?

Yes that was what I was told. No restriction on other leather bags.
You can have one k and one b per year, didn't ask about the exotic tho.. Or you can have 2 k or 2 b!

Another bad news..

They won't be able to do transfers between stores freely as before. All transfers must go through store managers. If your local store is BH and you want something from KOP, the request has to get approved by the store manager.....
This is what my SA just told me.. They want to limit transfers as much as possible and offer customers what s available in their local boutique..
This is getting more and more ridiculous..
That means if your local boutique never has any inventory, such as SCP then you are out of luck, since most of the desirable goods will go to the customers on the waiting lists anyway.....

Leather pieces have always required SM approval.
For silk pieces, it would make sense as they are either snapped up by tourists very quickly or reserved for their regular clients so stores are not too willing to transfer.
