I bought my first vanity (with mirror, no top handle, in bronze-y gold) and I have to say I absolutely love it! It wasn't on my radar and I had never considered getting one, but when I visited Vegas for a friend's baby shower, hubby encouraged me to browse the Chanel boutique (such an enabler haha). One thing led to another when I asked to check out any iridescent bags they had and the SA brought out a vanity. It's a perfect-for-me evening bag because it carries my many "essentials" and fits my iPhone. I wore it to a multi-day wedding last week and got so many compliments.
I agree with the cons other people mentioned - you need both hands to open or close the bag and you can't leave it open. But the pros outweigh the cons for me.

I'm late to the game, but I did not like any of the boxy ones from the past few years. I just got this one, which is very easy to use in my opinion.
Pros: Flat and close to the body, spacey for it's size, relative inexpensive compared to other Chanel models, exterior beautifully made.
Cons: I don't really like the interior fabric lining. It feels cheap.

Looks super cute! I'm also super interested in this new style! How's the capacity? Does it fit the phone, glasses and keys?
It fits all my essentials with room to spare. I carry a Calvi Card holder, lip balm, house & car keys, phone (Zflip) and Airpods. I believe it can fit a small pair of glasses but I haven't had the need to do so.
The zippers are easier to open than the Loro Piana L19 (if that helps at all). I woke up with a stiff neck 3 days ago and my body still hasn't fully recovered yet. I'll post the mod pics when I can.

It's gonna be a long time. Turns out it wasn't a stiff neck. After 2 days in the ER, I now know that I have severe multiple disc herniation and I need surgery. Will update you guys and send pics when I can.

So I decided to go on a very short walk today. (Doctor's orders) It was an excuse to use this bag and get you your photos. It's about 60% full and can fit my phone & probably some mints as well 🤪

Thank you. Yeah, it's sold out. You should ask your SA when the next collection will come in. Mine told me the date two weeks in advance (FYI, this bag was my first ever purchase from him as I haven't bought anything from Chanel for more than a decade), and I went on day 2 of release to get it.
