Does Eugenie keep the Princess title for life?

It is my understanding that she does.

Princess Eugenie has been given the title Princess because of a Letters Patent issued by King George V in 1917.
The Patent states that the sovereign’s grandchildren can hold Prince or Princess royal titles.

Princess Eugenie, and her sister, Princess Beatrice, both qualify as they as granddaughters of Queen Elizabeth II.

Not all of the Queen’s grandchildren hold royal titles, however.
For example, Princess Eugenie’s cousin, Zara Tindall – who is the daughter of Princess Anne and also a granddaughter of the Queen – does not hold one. Zara and her older brother, Peter, were not entitled to royal status by birth since titles can only be given to the monarch’s grandchildren through sons, not daughters.

BF and and I are watching the ESPN pre-show for the first Formula 1 race of the 2022 season today in Bahrain and Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are both there. BF had no idea who they were

Those two the gruesome twosome / royal ugly sisters as the tabloids have dubbed them over the years are so like their awful loud vulgar mother and would go to the opening of a matchbook if they thought they would benefit from it

The best part was when Martin Brundle (one of the commentators) did his usual “grid walk” before the race, and completely ignored the both of them to interview other more famous/relevant attendees.

Wise move to not include any of her father “Andrew, Albert, Christian, Edward” in his name.

It seems out of place to use “Ronnie” instead of “Ronald” which is more in keeping with the formal “Ernest” and “George” that precedes it.
Maybe her grandfather was more known as Ronnie to his nearest and dearest?

How very Sussex of them to name the poor kid Ronnie... I don't get it, why not Ernest George Ronald? Might as well have named him Ernie Georgie Ronnie then. I'm not big on naming children by nicknames but then again, I always hated the fact my parents chose a short version of a longer, prettier name as my first name. I've got three given names but the first name has always annoyed me and maybe I'll change it at some point.

I don't mind August which is a fairly normal name around Europe, coming from Emperor Augustus I presume. I can even tolerate Ernest but Ronnie... All that said, the kids are both very cute. :amuse:
