I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Face is thinner and longer and more oval. Cheekbones more prominent. Eye shape is different too or it’s the eye makeup. The hair looks like it had a chocolate rinse or it is a wig

He loves them as his children. Doesn’t mean he has to actually like one of them.

I found this Insta account (I think it was originally a TikTok? Dunno) approaching New Yorkers in the streets asking for the story how they met. I was watching one short video of a couple that had been together for 50 years and the guy asked their secret. Besides the very blunt unsafe for children first response, the wife said "I actually like him as a person. Loving someone is easier than liking someone", and that reasonated so much with me.

I will say as someone with a waist 2 sizes smaller than my big behind high waist stuff is a godsend I found too late in life
