The first picture in this thread shows Sophie wearing the same hat during an event with the Queen. Knowing how close they were I’d wager it’s no coincidence she chose this hat to wear to see her beloved husband receive a major honor marking his enhanced standing in the Monarchy.
The soft pink of her dress may have been selected in anticipation of the softly beautiful pink Queen Elizabeth roses being used?
