Thanks for the information. I had a smaller bucket done recently in Japan. It was under $100 but came back in a flat envelope bag, not a drawstring. It is amazing how good it looked with a new lining.

Hello fellow tPFers! For some reason I cannot start a thread of my own, so this thread addresses the closest topic to mine. I've had my Damier Ebene Speedy 30 since last February (2011). In July of '11 I noticed red threads showing by the corner of my bag where the piping and canvas folds in (not ON the canvas, but between the piping and the canvas fold). I took it to LV and they said the bag was "giving". I said BS so I neatly wrapped my bag up and left it in my closet. Until a few days ago. Speaking of re-lining, I noticed the stitching by the zipper of my speedy to be slanted toward the end! It literally takes a dip the last 4 inches of the stitch line. Also, there are two empty stitch holes underneath one of the stitches. I am convinced this is NOT NORMAL. Someone please lead me in the right direction. I'm supposed to talk to the leather goods manager tomorrow (I already sent her a very lengthy email and sent her extreme close up photos of my problem). Help!!! :(

:bump: Does anyone have a recent price for GM bucket relining in the UK? I live a 10 hour round drive from the nearest store - it's agony! Does it tend to be the same price regardless of condition since they'd have to replace it all anyway? TIA :D

I'm curious for those that sent their GM Bucket bags to LV for lining replacement, did they replace with something that isn't going to do the same thing in a few years? $150-$200 is reasonable to have it fixed as long as I don't have to do it again.
