I just tried calling a couple of NMs and discovered that particular department is closed on Sundays at most, if not all, locations.

Good to know... and thanks for the info. If you recall a few years ago on the Chanel subforum, rumor has it that an SA was let go for doing special favors for some of her clients. My SA has been nothing but super accommodating to all my special requests. I tend to be on the prudent side, not that I think that has anything to do with whether or not I am a VIP client. Some SAs are just more aggressive or eager to make a sale than the others.
I suppose that all NM SAs give their clients discount on LOVE bracelets then...
^^ That is correct. Only some of the pendants are on sale from the LOVE collection. But with the LOVE bracelet, you can request a "special price" to be worked out with NM.
I don't know. I never heard of Chanel selling bags at a discount to certain people. Unless you use a store employee discount or the bag is on sale..etc If your sa is giving you a special price, I really would keep it on the DL. That is my opinion. I never heard of the love bracelet being marked down at all, now you have a few people that are gonna call this sa asking for a discount on it.
There was a NM Chanel sa that was fired for something to do with special clients , I don't know all of the details. My sa was telling me about it. That said, if you are getting a hook up, maybe it is best to keep it off of the forum, for his sake. KWIM

LOL. I don't really consider it some kind of a "hookup." But at the same time, I don't know what I'm getting is common enough for everyone to know about. I am trying to look out for my SA too, therefore have not posted his info in this thread. I just thought I would pass on info from my favorite SA, since it's not everyday that you see Cartier at a reduced price.
And no, I was wasn't implying I, or anyone, got "special pricing" kind of "favors" on regular price Chanel items. I did use to get special favors from my Chanel SA. But she is retired and I am going spare you the details. I am positive I wasn't the only one.
I just think that if one has a good working relationship with an SA, be it at Chanel, NM, or anywhere else, for that matter, chances are they will go out of their way to make you happy.
