Reuters just posted there is a big price increase coming!

Tldr; while Hermes has been more conservative than its peers, the increases in 2023 will be larger than previously to combat inflation and hire more workers to keep up with demands.

"We will probably have price hikes between 5 and 10 percent," Hermes executive vice president of finance Eric du Halgouet told reporters on Thursday, blaming increased costs and currency movements.

Do you think they are trying to get a better handle on the resellers, hence the increase in prices, even though they are making plenty of profit?
I think the reseller situation will get worse if they don't increase their supply to meet the demand. I think this is truly mostly inflation that had been soaring higher than it typically has been - i.e. cost to make the bag, i.e. marginalized profit. JMO.
