Price Increase 2016

I am wondering if anyone has heard about the potential price increase in January. Some mentioned in the Paris for bags thread that it's going to happen on the 5th, is that true?

It's about that time of the year and with the weak Euro, it'll be interesting to see what Hermes does this time.

Please share if you have heard anything, regardless where you are in the world.

Hello, there is already a price increase on Hermes.fr : for example, the scarves are 10 euros more expensive. I can't tell about bags : there is almost none on the website.

My SA confirmed that there will be a price increase, also on bags.

I know the new price for leather Barenia Kelly Dog bracelet in Europe is now EUR 480,00.

Hi everyone, I purchased a B on the 1st Jan, no price increase and When I asked my SA, he had no clue about it.

I definitely see increases on the French web site, but nothing too drastic so far anyway, but not everything is shown. Twilly increase by 5 euro, clic h increase of 15 euro, no change thus far to Kelly double tour, bastia's up by 5 euro for Epsom, but online shown inventory is low so difficult to really see

Price increases don't happen at the same time globally, nor are they uniform in terms of percentage increase or even if there will be an increase country to country.

That is exactly how I feel. Just hope she was correct ! Each time I buy in US, I feel I need to get on a plane over.

The £ is stronger against the weak Euro and there was a price adjustment for silks when the Euro took a plunge last year. 90cm silk went from £310 to £280. Twilly was adjusted to £125. It is now however £115 even though the price in Euro went up.


From this post, Kelly 28 is now €6800. It was €6450 in 2015, so that's roughly 5.43% increase.

Also, Halzan on the EU H.com is now €3750. It was €3600 for the lined version, which is roughly 4.17% increase.

CSGM has apparently gone from €895 to €920 according to this post a 2.8% increase.
