I don't find it to be hard to care for. If the bag is natural vachetta (nude color), it will gradually develop a patina which is the natural "tanning" process that gives it a gorgeous golden tone. Smooth vachetta leather tends to show scratches more easily than pebbled leather, but usually a little leather conditioner can take care of that. Can't wait to see your highrise!

So jealous! I wish there was a medium sized Preston. The mini is too small for my Hobo wallet but this size is too cavernous for every day. This is a beauty, though! It was #1 on my wishlist until I saw how big they are. =(
