Suprisingly I loved the way it looked draped, the main pattern is in the middle (say like Tigre Royale) but when I draped it I loved it. The other CWs are more elegant and muted but something about this one I just loved (and I am not even a big fan of reds)
I have also ordered the L´arbre de Vie in the Bleu Electrique CW. Will have to see how that looks.
Clearly I must be in the mood for color this Fall.
We have crazy heat here now, can't even believe I am thinking about Fall scarves.
I did however buy a MeM TShirt scarf today that is perfect for summer.

Yes, just this afternoon. The one that caught my eye was a light purple/lavendar shade. I should have paid more attention to the other colors, but when I go back, I'll make sure to take better notes.
Twins with Lala28: Ex Libris en Kimonos in the bleu/parme/rouge colorway. I found this beauty in one of the two H stores at the Munich airport. Both stores have a good selection of the fall 90cm scarves (not all-the Au fil du carre wasn't there). IRL it's a very striking colorway and pattern.

I'm considering the same cw for my first ever cashmere scarf, but I won't be able to see it IRL in the next few weeks. If you have a chance to take any modeling photos, I would love to see them. (I love the design in the black cw, and am presently debating between buying it in 90cm silk or GM cashmere, so any additional photos would really help me make up my mind.) Thanks so much!

Spring in Paris, the LADV Cashemere is really fabulous. I don't have any proper modelling pics of the scarf but I have a few I took for another thread and would be happy to share. This is my first GM as well, and I had the exact same debate because I was head over heels. I decided for the GM as I simply didn't have one in my collection and there are absolutely no regrets. It's a fantastic design that doesn't overpower at all, and there is just more of it to love. Excuses for the bad pics, I took them in a really bright room so there is a bit of a "grey wash" to them but you can still make out the vividness of the color and design (particularly towards the bottom, it's like that IRL):

Julian, many thanks for the photos - the GM does indeed look gorgeous! I think I may just have to go for it ... I'm a little nervous because of all the recent discussions of GM quality issues - but it's just too beautiful.
