Here is my first new season scarf the Magic Kelly... I am hoping to see some "real life" pics of MK in other colourways -
I scored one like yours. Now we're scarf twins. Thanks to robee, too, for posting earlier and enabling me to get this cw. It's a fabulous design.
I've just take another look at your wonderful thread Cosmo, and saw that your Massai is Bleu de Malte.

Its blue de malte! I've been surprised at how much I love this color.
Looks navy in some lighting, but then outdoors it pops as a medium powdery blue with slight green undertones; guess that's why it works well with my new scarf.

Navy is one of my favorite color for clothes, but sometimes it's too "plain" for a bag. Your bleu de Malte is perfect IMO

my first scarf from the fall 2011 collection - "magic kelly" in a dusty green/seafoam color. i wasn't crazy about the design when i first saw pics at the beginning of this thread, but fell in love with the colors IRL.
sorry the pics are a bit dark and yellowish - the scarf is on top of my bedsheets which are a pure white!

IRL pics are so much better than those H stock photos. So you would describe the green as "dusty/seafoam"? Not really a dark green? Do you think it would work with the Kelly in my siggy? TIA for your advice.

actually, mine isn't the same color as colorway 03 in your link above ^^. your link to colorway 03 shows a more turquoise/aqua blue scarf, whereas mine is a dusty seafoam green. i don't have the scarf handy as i'm at work, but i will look at the tag later and let you know which colorway # it is.
hi cosmo! you should definitely try to see this IRL before deciding if it would go with your gorgeous vert fonce kelly. your vert fonce kelly looks like a deep jewel emerald green from your pics, so i'm not sure whether they'll go well together. i personally am not into the super-matchy thing, so i'm probably not the best person to ask when it comes to matching. this scarf is truly a dusty seafoam green color, with blue-ish tones in the seafoam. HTH!!

I do think you're right about seeing it IRL; hopefully I'll get a chance. Greens can be tough. A lot of the green scarves that H does these days clash with old-fashioned vert fonce, so it can be difficult to buy sight unseen. Congrats again on your beautiful scarf. oh no problem about the colorway confusion - the one i purchased actually wasn't one of the original pics posted by the fabulous Uno earlier in this thread. i can see how, with all the excitement of the Fall scarves arriving in stores, colors get mixed up left and right!
i totally agree with you that green H scarves are tough - i have way too many lime-green scarves because i'm attracted to the color in general, but never actually wear them together with my vert anis bag because it is just pure green overload! some of the recent scarves also feature bright kelly greens (also seen in the vert menthe leather swatch which is a SUPER bright green) which can overpower a beautiful deep color such as vert fonce. if it were me, i would actually pick a scarf that doesn't have any green, but other complementary deep colors - such as the dark grey colorways in "l'arbre du vie" and "harnais" designs.
