I like the Tempete for me. I wonder if it's just a teeny, tiny bit too old fashioned for mama. I'm going to check out Delvaux IRL and see if they have a contemporary lifting (single) colour in the Tempete or the Brilliant MM. I think colour makes such a difference.

Traviata in a 28cm is a very good choice but they have a 4 month waiting-list ATM, if I want to choose the colour/hw.

Ah. I see. What about the Bottega Veneta Roma? It isn't the most structured, though it seems to hold its shape quite well. It is also offered in many different colors.

If it weren't for the gold hardware, Ferragamo has lovely green and pink options for the Sofia this season.

Tiffany didn't have the full range of leather goods last time I visited (years ago - remember their reversible metallic silver/T-blue tote)

B's Serpenti has a chain strap no? I remember loving it when browsing so I'll re-check. She has enough Chanel with chains so really looking for a leather handle/strap. I will check all Bulgari bags though, I've never had enough time to check them out in person but they look just the right sort of quality. I love the enamel snake head on the S.

How about a Moynat Rejane 26cm or 30cm in Pacific? It's probably my favorite color that I know the Rejane has been made in. I'm not sure if the Rejane is still available in Pacific, though. I haven't checked on Rejane colors in a couple of months, but if you like the color, it might be worth a call to see if one is available or can be made to order. The Forever is a top-handle with an additional leather and chain strap, but the hardware may be limited in color based on the website. *sigh* Definitely worth a look though as there may be other options in the boutique.

To be honest, I'm not sure what the exact shade of blue Pacific is. I've never seen it (or any other Moynat bag that I adore) in person since I don't live anywhere near a Moynat boutique.

Also, post 716 of the Moynat thread has pictures of a Pacific Cabotin, while it's made of a different leather than is used to make the Rejane, it's supposed to be the same color.

I had a look on line, these are soooo gorgeous. The 26cm says Medium, so I'm hoping there's also a large. I see only ghw on the chain straps but I think I should still have a look at these.

The Hypnotics are so beautiful, perhaps quite evening but so so precious and forever. As you say, I only see ghw apart from the black lizard with "scale plissé' maybe a bit 'Gothic' but just WOW.

The beautiful and smart Scaglie with fold-down metal handles and mini snake heads as zip pullers is gorgeous too.

Yes, the zipper on the Monaco was a mis-step (albeit a seldom one by BV). You are indeed going to have trouble walking out/checking out with only one Canard! It's the best dilemma to have! Other suggestions from other posters are quite fetching as well. Good luck with your decision!

5. I think these are still available as made-to-order too. Not sure if the smaller size is/was too but I could ask. Happily with the MTO I can get the perfect colour/hw combo which would be a plus.

1. BDTH is light but I'm not sure about the colours this season. Only the red is bright this season and I can't remember any other red bags she's ever bought.

4. Not sure where I'd get a LBTH. I'd have to go to Bicester Village (they don't pick up the phone). I suppose they could still have a Magenta med New BTH shw which she would love
