They said these in the posts:
"NicolasGhesquiere’s latest collection showcases the Maison’s emblematic handbags revisited in a series of neutral tones and vibrant hues"
"the Women’s Pre-Fall 2023 Collection by NicolasGhesquiere revisits timeless silhouettes"
"NicolasGhesquiere’s latest collection evokes a vintage aesthetic with a contemporary flair, reinterpreting the Maison’s signature motifs in a fusion of timeless style codes."

I really really hope these mean that these bags are indeed part of the collection to be actually released.

What do you guys think of the bridge show? It looked OK, the oversized hardware theme did continue.
But for me the absolute highlight of the show were these 4 nostalgia pieces. An Alma GM in Fuchsia, a Speedy 35 in (I guess) Bleu Toledo, an Alma PM in Gris and another Ama GM in Citron. They might as well be just vintage pieces digged out from the archive (the Fuchsia GM even had a huge dent on the front), but I genuinely hope that they will be made available again. Pure classics, no bs, not ornaments or labels. Just pure classic Perfection

If they did use archive pieces, I wonder if it's a comment on sustainability. Encouraging us to wear our older pieces next season , as if we don't already :) interesting point in a runway show designed to sell brand new items, but if that's what they're doing, great to see one of the world's biggest fashion brands actually "walk the talk" on the runway.

Loved the setting for this show!

Perhaps they are setting the stage for “re-issues” of vintage models similar to what Prada did. I would buy!

Oooh now that’s really epi Alma mm!

If we are taking into consideration that the show was in Seoul, I don’t think the show’s aesthetics “fit” the city.

Still not a fan of the oversized hardware for clothes -could we please do away with them soon? Some of the clothing materials/fabrics also looked cheap, especially when the wind would blow in the videos.

As for the bags… some obvious nods to vintage pieces, and some “new” designs that have been done by other brands for a few years prior. The “archive” idea is starting to feel like, “let me take something that a smaller brand did a few years back, and just make it with the monogram pattern.”

I know it’s only pre-fall, so not expecting a very large and exciting lineup, but I was still hoping for more. There were barely any monoglam pieces on the runway (think I saw one gold loop). You would think that they would feature more bags that are being offered in 3-4 weeks, to drive interest in preorders and sales.

I wonder what material it is made of. Very sparkly and the silver studs! Well I have been yammering on and on about wanting a bag with black metal hardware and it looks like they finally used it on the upper left side trunk. Fingers crossed.
Just looks like glittery leather doesn’t it? I kept being undecided on all the side trunks so far but this is it for me. Love the black hardware one too so let’s hope one of them gets produced. Thrown a right spanner in my monoglam plan now as I feel like holding out for this only to then be upset it isn’t made and monoglam sold out :panic:
