I should add that I also have a Tumi nylon bag - Voyageur collection. Love it, but nowhere near MZW durability. Not even close.

Seriously?! I was just about to mention Tumi but now I have to check out MCW!
I would not get Prada nylon. I feel like it's a little blingy, and then there are many who will look at it and think it's a fake.
How do you feel about Longchamp nylon?
I apologize for my ignorance but I didn't even know about MZ Wallace bags before. I checked a thread on them here on tPF now and also just googled it. Their bags are much cheaper than Prada but their designs don't appeal to me personally. I love Prada nylon though so if it were me I would get Prada nylon for durability and design despite the big price difference. If you like MZ Wallace bag designs though I can see why you would get that instead given the feedback of others on durability, plus they're much cheaper than Prada nylon.
Yeah...my Tumi is lighter than my MZ's, which is a feat because MZ bags are already lightweight. However the Tumi nylon will scuff, while MZ really doesn't, at least in my experience.
My prada nylon has been going strong for 10 years and still looks new, if that helps

The thing I love about Prada is the style with the durability and light weight if the nylon. My Prada everyday tessuto Gaufre has been used daily for the last 2 years and it still looks good. My other crossbody I've had for over 10 years and I still love the look of the style. So if you're looking just for durability then you have your options. But if you love the Prada styles like I do, then Prada is the way
I do have to agree...as much as I love my MZ bags, the Prada nylon bags are timeless and classic.
