One of my favorite bags is a leather Poppy. At the time I thought it was really expensive but now I think it was amazing quality for the price. I think this was my gateway bag that made it okay for me to spend more on bags.

I think it was a great marketing idea, one that Coach should revisit. If you make lower priced items to get people to try your products, they might become regular customers and buy your higher priced items too.

+1! Completely agree!

That's what happened to me. I found a $200 gray-silver siggy poppy cinch in the FP store that was too cute to leave behind. I still have it, and ironically it goes with a lot of outfits that no other bag works as well with.

Later I found tpf. Could not go back to mff bags after that. (I think I only bought 3 mff bags at outlet anyway because I unknowingly gravitated to the FP bags there. :p )

I have that Poppy cinch in the silver sparkle leather. It is an adorable style. If they had made a wider variety of colors, especially in regular leather, I would have gotten more.

These are mine, both fabric siggy:

They really are fun to carry! Much more versatile than they look. The black one is just funny.

I was not wise to buying only leather at the time. I still love these and my fabric carly though, and my fabric/leather hampton tote. When legacy 2012 came around, I switched to leather mostly.

This is mine. And these are my other Poppy bags. The Rocker is another style I would have bought more if they had made it in leather colors I like. The leather on the sapphire spotlight is one of the nicest Coach has ever used.

Waahhhhh! These pics make me miss the Poppy line even more, such pretty bags!
I found a small tote in another brand in white metallic leather that I'm thinking about getting. It reminds me of the Poppy small totes.
