akoko, when I went to the AD to see a pink dial in person, the pink dial watch they had, although not the same dial as the dial I was considering ordering, looked very pink to the point that I was surprised. I think however that the lighting at the store was not real bright so whether that made a difference, I don't know. It was pretty but I was a little disappointed because I wanted a 36mm watch that looked feminine. I wanted to LOVE the pink dial. Now I will see because I have the rhodium dial coming and am a bit nervous about that aspect that it might look too masculine.

I actually had to go to Las Vegas to find a store that had the pink (salmon) dial in the watch in wanted. I like it but I'm sure your watch will be beautiful. I don't think it will look too masculine. Are you getting a men's watch? I got aa Air King which is a men's but not the largest.
One funny thing - my watch before this one was a Movado with stainless with a silver colored dial and no numbers or marks. Surprisingly my rolex dial is just as hard to read. I guess there just isn't much contrast between the dial and the marks.

Well it's the 36 mm wave dial with diamond Arabic 6 and 9 -- I love the dial . it is very unique and the dial is a wave pattern that has Rolex written in parallel form but more subtle than the traditional jubilee pattern. It has lumen markers on the remaining so will be easy to see --I hope!

I also love the wave dial, but am torn between rhodium and pink. Are you happy with the rhodium dial?
