I have a dark denim Rogue (38124 OL L61) that I have owned for several months and I really love it, but last night I bought a new embellished, whipstitch turquoise Rogue (58116 BP MIW) and I love it too! I got the new bag at a great price but I could have bought other gorgeous bags, some of them even cheaper, but I was drawn to the turquoise Rogue.

That's all fine, but the problem is that I love lots and lots of bags - and I have invested money and closet space in the past on bags that I no longer carry very often because they are similar to other bags in my purse wardrobe - and I tend to default to my favorites when picking a bag to carry. So now I attempt to be a bit more selective when choosing new bags. I try not to buy more than 2 bags of the same style and to make sure that they are quite different - so that I can carry them in different situations, seasons, with different outfits, etc. I don't always succeed with this program, but I keep trying!

For example, I have a plain Carmine (orange/red) Nomad and also a Gray Birch Nomad with wildflower decoration - so they are very different bags even though they are both Nomads.

Below are pictures of my 2 Rogues and there are some differences. They are different colors but the turquoise bag is green/blue and in low light they both look rather blue/gray. They are the same size and style and have the same saddle-colored suede lining; but the turquoise bag has whipstitch handles and fringe, suede side panels, black hardware instead of gold, and black trim with contrasting light stitching.

They are both gorgeous, but are they too similar? Should I return my new turquoise Rogue? Please vote in the poll above and let me know your opinion. But be advised that you may not be able to see the poll on your phone - in that case just post your response below. I am looking forward to hearing your feedback, thanks!

Keep the new Rogue !!! They are both gorgeous bags and colors . The style is of course the same but I feel the color is different enough to justify keeping . Esp. since you got a great deal . I am a person who buys the same style bag in different colors , patterns , etc . I rarely go out side my comfort zone . I saw this bag in store a week ago . Its a keeper imo . Good luck deciding :)

While they're different colours, they are similar. If they'd fill the same spot in your purse wardrobe, you'd probably just end up using each less often. This is something I have to be careful of as well. I'd say return it. Find something different enough to not serve the same purpose for you.

BTW, the Denim is gorgeous, particularly with that charm.

Thank you! I really love my dark denim rogue, but I was surprised to see it still listed for sale at full retail price both on Coach.com and at the boutique store. I thought that the bag had been discontinued, mine was an outlet purchase from several months back - did they re-release it?

While they are both gorgeous, I do think they are pretty similar. I would return it and get something else that is very different (or wait until something comes along). I definitely know that there is always one more purse on the horizon for me that I will love so I assume it is that way with you too! LOL

I agree with the return votes. If you want something in the rogue family, maybe a tea rose rogue instead.? The blue and green are both nice but I'm not sure I'd use green one. I have a denim rogue in the doctor's style and love the color. I was tempted to buy the regular rogue in the denim but realized I was only going to buy because of the price. I can use the $ toward something more different.
