Pochette Metis or Vavin PM in marine rogue? Help

I tried both in-store recently in my quest for the perfect small bag. The Vavin is heavier than the PM. You also need to think about how you feel about chain straps; I was reminded of why I don't like them - IMO they look sloppy unless you take care to make sure the chain is straight/not twisted so I prefer regular straps which are more carefree in practice.

Between the two, I'd get the PM but in marine rouge. I passed on the PM because the style wasn't "me" but when I tried it on I immediately understood why it's so popular. It's a nice size, very comfortable to wear, and versatile with the removable strap.

I had both but returned the Vavin PM and purchased the Pochette Metis in black empreinte leather. I loved the Vavin but found that the chains on top pulled on the body of the bag, creating a V-shape on the top flap. I know that it would only get worse with time. I feel that any bag with the chain strap built in the flap of the bag would cause this problem, unless the flap is very firm. You can see the stress on the top, in the picture that was previously posted of the Passy.
