I have had 2 Pochette Metis’ that were defective. My recent one from 2017 had glazing problems after using lightly for 2 summers. They just told me it’s defective and have a new one available for me.

Do I keep the new one knowing that I’m going to have glazing problems again? Or do I try the reverse monogram? She said it’s harder to get, so not sure if that’s even an option for me.

Or do I exchange it for something else? I purchased my first Pochette Métis for $1650+tax and if I do an exchange I can get items that equal the current selling value $1830.

The only thing I have my eye on is the Felicie in noir empriente. I like the functionality of the Pochette Métis but I’m over the drama of this bag!

This. I haven’t had mine long but am using it worry free & I love it. If a problem arises I’ll address it with LV.
The bag has had issues no doubt but lots of people have owned this bag with no problems. I’m forever the optimist.

I agree. I know that if I chose to keep the Pochette Metis and I end up having a defect again, they would take care of it. I wish there was something else comparable in functionality and size.

I gave up my 1 year old PM and no looking back. After one year only it had hardware discoloration and canvas cracking: a hot mess, but still a mess. I love the PM, but as you can see there a number of issues you can have with this bag.
I got the mini Dauphine instead and I am very happy!

You might have a look a the regular size Dauphine that is the same size as the PM.

I love my PM. Mine was deemed defective and LV replaced it. With that being said it has been sitting in my closet for a month since its been replaced. It is almost as though Im afraid to use it lol. I am loving my Palm Springs Mini lately. Since this will be a third replacement for you I suggest replacing with a different bag. Felice is gorgeous in Noir!

Do you remember the date code? I have a 25th week of 2017 PM sitting in my closet unused. Some of the glue is gummy - I am not sure I am willing to chance using it...What should I do - take to store or consign? I want a different crossbody bag.

Take it in and see what they say, the PM is known for its problems.

I don't recall the exact date code, but I believe it was around the same 20-ish week of 2017 as well. I agree with Emsidee, you should bring it in to have it checked out. But even if you take it out and use it and it has problems, LV will take care of it if there's a problem.

Hi may I ask,I'm new to this forum and LV bag,I purchased my pm on 2015 and I hardly wear and look still new ,but this year I notice some glazing crack and took to LV store and they said it was defeative and the s.a was not so friendly and didn't explain much to me ,she said I can exchange with any bag or they can issue me new pm but on waiting list for 4 month,I don't mind waiting though.
She took my bag and without any paper or anything issued to me,she said she will call but never..I live far away from LV butik and now I'm a bit worried about it,I won't have any proof that I give the bag to her.what should I do ?
