I was thinking since the Aqua stones are so much bigger (and there are 5 instead of 3) it is a better deal. AND, I bet the aqua's are just as sparkly as diamonds???

the refractive index of diamodns is higher so they will sparkle more, but the im sure the aquas are just as gorgeous...sorry im no help as I would probably buy the aquas as well....i might even go check them out tomorrow heehee...thanks for the temptation canyongirl!

I've seen the aquamarines in real life, and to me they were slightly disappointing. The stones are quite small so the blue is really subtle and light. I'm loving the diamonds! And they look bigger too with the silver setting surrounding the diamond. The diamonds match with so many other things and it sparkles heaps more! I have the 5 diamond silver DBY bracelet myself and I love it.

I'm voting for the 3 diamond necklace :)

I was going thru a similar dilemia, but with 1 stone to layer with my other t&co necklaces. after seeing the smallness of the 0.03 ct, i passed trying it on completely...then i tried on the 0.05 ct diamond...it was just okay....i ended up going with the 0.06 ct aqua...just because i was getting what I was looking for without shelling out alot.

a week later, i went over to the platinum area and looked at the 0.14 ct diamond, and it is aLOT bigger then you think and sparkled like crazy in comparison to the lack of sparkle that I saw with the smaller sterling one... glad that i ended up getting the aqua so i can just save the the larger diamond in pt...

regardless, i say try both on...I think after that, it will be clear which one you want... =D

I am actually wondering the same thing..
I am deciding whether to get the single diamond or single aquamarine bracelet
The problem is the Tiffany here doesn't have any single stoned sterling silver bracelets in yet...

I am really leaning towards the diamonds for that reason. I think they would match so much more. I think in the long run I will be happier w/diamonds.

I'm going to go probably Tuesday to see them IRL. I'll be sure to post pics when I get home. :yahoo:

I wanted the one with diamonds all around but my sister pointed out that the diamonds would be covered so I got the DBY necklace with one diamond (not sure about the ct).. The aquamarine stones aren't as pretty in real life so I think you should get the diamonds!

I finally went today to get myself a bracelet...
the aquamarine is really disappointing, it is not sparkly at all!! It just looks like coloured glass.
So I finally bought a 1 diamond bracelet.
