Pls Help Me Decide ~ Which Tiffany "by the yard" Necklace?

I'm thinking of getting one of Tiffany's new sterling silver Diamonds by the Yard necklaces, but I need some help deciding.

I want a piece that would look pretty worn layered w/other necklaces, and just something sparkly and pretty for casual/everyday wear. My budget is around $500 (give or take).

Should I get the diamond 3 stone for $450

Or the aquamarine 5 stone for $550

Of course, I love diamonds... but I think the aquamarines are fresh and fun too.

I need help! And, if anyone has seen these IRL and has some advice, that would be fantastic too!

Or... should I forgot about both of these and get something else?

I've been eyeballing the aquamarine myself. It's my birthstone, so I'm a little biased!
Whichever you get, I hope you will post modelling pics!

i saw the dby 3 stone necklace at the store just recently (but didn't try it on), and i think i'd want the 3 stone over the 1, but that's just me. i think you have to go in and try it yourself to see the complete picture. good luck

I have the one stone DBTY, but I think if your going to get one you should get multiple stones, I regret slightly not getting the 3 stone or more

I will definitely get either the 3 stone or 5 stone... I just can't decide if I should go for aquamarines or diamonds. I was researching online and It looks like the aquamarine stones are twice the size as the diamonds in these necklaces.

And yes, Kitsunegrl, I promise I will post modelling pictures once I decide.

Personally I would get the aqua and then at a later date the diamond. And layer them.

I have the single stone sapphire DBTY in plat and had the 3 stone DBTY in plat as well. I returned the 3 stone since it never stayed "centered", kwim? It was always lopsided or turning around my neck. So my vote would be for the 5 stone aqua (it looks great layered with the single stone diamond too for later if you decide to get another!). Gorgeous choices, can't wait to see pics! HTH!

Aqua in either 3 or 5. The Aqua is definitly more unique. Plus, you get more bank for the buck since the stones are bigger than the diamond necklace.

Diamond 3 stone is my vote. I may be biased, since it is my birthstone and I LOVe sparkle!

I vote for the five stone diamond bracelet. The five stones will move around your wrist but will not appear off center as the three or one stone bracelets. Also, you'll never get tired of diamonds.
